ANMOL Privacy Policy

Overview

Launched by the Hon’ble Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare on 7th April 2016, ANMOL is an android based application that empowers the ANM - the frontline health workers in carrying out their day-to-day work efficiently and effectively by entering and updating service records of beneficiaries on a real/near real-time basis. ANMs now can access and update their data in offline mode too.

It captures the essence of life cycle approach of RCH Portal; registering and tracking of services of beneficiary from Eligible Couple stage to the whole reproductive duration of the woman. It focuses on early identification of High Risk Symptoms in Pregnant Women and Child (0-2 years) and hence, has become a powerful tool in minimizing maternal and child deaths.

Further, ANMOL also acts as a job aid to the ANMs by providing them with readily available information such as Dashboards, Performance Reports, Due Lists and guidance based on data entered and Tutorials to strengthen their skills.

Coverage

As on 31st March 2024, ANMOL has been rolled out in 28 States/UTs which include Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Daman and Diu and Dadra Nagar Haveli, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir-UT, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Ladakh-UT, Lakshadweep, Maharashtra, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry-UT, Punjab, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

The application is available in Hindi, English, Telegu and Kannada for better acceptance. As per the requirement, other regional language could be included.

For easy access, ANMOL tutorials are available on YouTube in Hindi and English.

Standard Operating Procedure for Onboarding to ANMOL
  1. State send the request to MoHFW for ANMOL Training.
  2. Training of Trainers is organized for the State. After that Training mobile app is made available to the State for the hands-on.
  3. State sends the confirmation to MoHFW for ANMOL Live in their State.
  4. Updated apk is released on play store for onboarding of new State.
  5. ANMOL is then made Live for the State. State can even access the ANMOL Dashboard to monitor the usage of ANMOL android application.
Frequently Asked Questions

Demonstration and training for ANMOL application can be completed in a one day workshop.

After the ANMOL android application is made live for the state, ANMs can start doing data entry for actual beneficiaries.

Dashboard for ANMOL is a web based portal. A separate URL will be shared with the State for the same.

After entering State and ANM ID in android application, in First Time Download historical data form RCH, corresponding to the ANM is downloaded in the tablet for offline use.

Data sync means data is sent from Tablet to AIS server. Whenever the tablet comes in network connectivity zone data is synced to AIS server. Data can also be synced by pressing the sync button explicitly on the tablet.

First of all the mapping needs to be done at the RCH portal in the village profile page. If the mapping is done before 1pm, the data will be available in AIS after 3pm on same day and If the mapping is done after 1pm, the data will be available in AIS on next day. Do FTD again.
